Throughout my life I have always had a passion for fitness, including running, hill walking, weight training and general healthy living.

In September 2006 I found out that I was pregnant for the first time. Immediately I decided to try and maintain my fitness throughout my pregnancy.

In May 2007 my beautiful baby girl Nina was born. Within 1 week of her arrival I was back exercising and within 6 weeks I was back in my skinny jeans!

Having managed to maintain my fitness throughout my pregnancy, there is no doubt that this aided my speedy recovery. As well as ensuring I was physically and mentally prepared for motherhood, it also meant I didn't need to invest in a whole new wardrobe! I now wish to share my experiences with other new mums or mums to be.

During my pregnancy I undertook studies in fitness through the YMCA (level 2, Fitness Instructor and level 3 Exercise and Fitness knowledge) and thereafter I attended a course known as Buggy Fit which is especially designed for new Mum's wanting to get back in shape after their new arrival. Not only does this give me the necessary qualifications but also the motivation to help others facing up to this life changing journey.
